Dr Carole Gilling-Smith, MA (Cantab), FRCOG, PhD

Carole is the CEO and Founder of the Agora Clinic in Hove, the largest Fertility Clinic in Sussex offering both NHS and privately funded treatment. The Agora has the highest HFEA published IVF success rates in all age groups across both London and the South East and was awarded Best Customer Service at the 2019 Sussex Business Awards. The clinic is renowned for providing exceptional patient support and is a leader in pioneering diversity in fertility care.

Carole is a Consultant Gynaecologist with particular expertise in Fertility and Reproductive Medicine

She graduated in Medicine from Cambridge and during her specialist training completed a PhD at Imperial College. She has an extensive research portfolio and has published and lectured Nationally and Internationally on a wide range of fertility related topics.

She pioneered the first fertility program for patients in the UK living with HIV and remains a National expert in this area

She has also developed bespoke fertility programs for those in the LGBTQ+ population as well as those wishing to preserve their fertility before cancer treatment or transitioning. She is passionate about modernising fertility education in schools and her mission is to empower all young people with the freedom of reproductive choice.

She lives in Sussex with her husband and has three children.
